Bro. Jim served in Marianist high schools as a science and math teacher. He also served in parish ministry at Holy Rosary Parish, San Antonio and Our Lady of the Pillar Parish, St. Louis. His last ministry was at the Marianist Retreat and Conference Center in Eureka, MO. He was proud to be known as a “Brother of Mary”.
His immediate relatives are Nancy Droste, sister-in-law, LaGrange, IL; Mary Droste, sister-in-law, Dixon, IL and numerous nieces and nephews, and grandnieces and grandnephews.
Services: In St. Louis, there will be a visitation from 9:30 am until time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am, Saturday, April 21 at the Cure of Ars Chapel on the grounds of St. John Vianney High School, 1311 S. Kirkwood Rd., 63122. Interment Maryhurst Cemetery with a reception to follow, all at Vianney H.S.
