John Henry Boedeker

Beloved husband of the late Lynn E. Boedeker (nee Fallon), dearest father of Emily (Chris) Dolence and Mary Boedeker; dear grandfather of Jackson, Benjamin, Charlotte and Thomas Dolence; dear brother of Mary Pat (the late Robert) Burton, James (Lynn) Boedeker, M.D., Elizabeth (Robert) Embree, and the late Michael Boedeker, and Ellen (Norman) Ryan; our dear brother-in-law, uncle, cousin, and friend to many.

John was a Saint Louis Native, growing up in Normandy, while attending Chaminade College Preparatory High School. He then moved to Columbia and graduated from University of Missouri, where he met his late wife Lynn, attending Greek activities through his fraternity Phi Kappa Theta. Once they moved back to the Saint Louis area, he completed his Graduate Degree through Southern Illinois University and settled in Richmond Heights where he raised his twin daughters, Emily and Mary, and gave many dogs good loving homes.

May his soul rest in peace with his late wife, dogs, and those family and friends that came before him, and may his memory be a blessing to all who knew him.

Services: A Memorial Visitation and Funeral Mass will be held at Immacolata Church, 8900 Clayton Road, St. Louis, MO 63117 on Friday, October 6, from 9:00 am until time of Mass at 10:00 am.
