Judith Ann Cyran Mold passed away on August 15, 2025. Beloved wife of the late Craig Mold; devoted mother to Carey Rimmer (Luc) and Christine Schena (Stefano); adored grandmother of Emma and Garrett Rimmer, Nico and Noah Schena; cherished sister to Mary Cruts (Ralph), Cynthia Bruns (Tony), Jeanne Dodd (Jim); Sister-in-law to Irl Mold and Sharon Barnholtz; aunt, cousin, and friend to all.
Judith was born in St. Louis, Missouri and grew up in Shrewsbury, where she formed the values of kindness and curiosity that would guide her throughout her life.
Judith earned her master’s degree from Fontbonne University, an achievement that reflected her love of knowledge. She married the love of her life in 1971 and together they built a home filled with warmth, laughter and devotion. They were blessed with two daughters, who were their greatest joy and constant source of pride.
Judith dedicated her professional life to serving others through education. She taught in the Bayless School District and later shared her passion for learning as a librarian. Beyond the classroom, she gave her time and talents generously, whether leading the Girl Scouts, volunteering in her community or cultivating beauty in her garden.
Those who knew Judith will remember her as generous, intelligent and radiant – inside and out. She had a gift for making others feel valued and cared for and her presence lit up every room she entered. Her legacy lives on in her family, her friends, students and the countless lives she touched. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
