Katharine went to McGehee with my sisters and then taught me at McGehee in the early 90’s. She was such a fun and enthusiastic teacher. I know she was a favorite in my class. My thoughts and prayers are with her family.

Katharine was a year ahead of me at McGehee's.  I have very fond memories of playing tennis with her growing up; an all around great person.  I am so sorry; my prayers are with with you all.

Katharine was my neighbor and I would babysit her sometimes.  I haven't seen her since I finished high school, but I'm so sorry to hear about this.  My thoughts are with the Gilly family as well as the Hastings family.

My thoughts and prayers are with your family. I've known Katharine since our 5 year old Jimmy Club days and just recently found each other again on Facebook. I am so sorry for your loss.

Over the past 11 years, I’ve valued Katharine’s friendship, kindness, and thoughtfulness. I will forever miss her great sense of humor and vibrant nature.  Memories of Katharine will forever remain deep within my heart. I’ll always remember the love and devotion she had for her family, the pleasure she derived from swimming and running, her kind and considerate manner, her beautiful and welcoming smile, and her amazing persona. Katharine truly was  a ‘one in a million’ person.  

Her passing truly leaves a void within me.   My sincere thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

I met Katharine through mutual McGehee friends in the mid 70's. I don't believe our paths have crossed since college, but I still remember her warm smile and great laugh. My prayers are with Katharine's family and friends.

I am so sorry about your loss. Katharine and I met in 6th grade and have remained friends since. She was caring, sincere, sweet and fun girl. After the loss of my Mother, she set up my Dad with Katherine's Aunt Nancy. They are still both happily married because of Katharine. Dad used to jog with Katharine at 4:30 in the morning as it was still dark outside. What dedication. She always spoke highly of her son John John. She loved him very much.She will be sorely missed by all. My thoughts and prayers are with you and John John always!!!!

Although I didn't know Katharine well, I met her years ago as a fellow runner.  Our conversations consisted of "Good morning" or "Hey" as we passed one another in the park.  She and her baseball cap were as steady as the sunrise coming up over the golf course at Audubon.  My thoughts are with her family and friends.

My heartfelt condolences to your entire family.  What a wonderful, funny and caring person Katharine was.  I have such fond memories of her at Newcomb (and afterward).  I feel quite fortunate to have known her.  I know she will be dearly missed.  You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
