Kenneth Wayne McWhorter

Kenneth Wayne McWhorter, age 76, of Saint Louis, Missouri passed away on Monday, May 2, 2022. Kenneth was born August 3, 1945 in Saint Louis, Missouri to the late Cletis J. and Mary J. McWhorter (Hayden). Beloved husband of Mary H. McWhorter (nee Buck); loving father of Kenny McWhorter Jr. and Stacy McWhorter (Jason) Pearson; dear brother of the late Bill (Vickie) McWhorter, Betty (Chuck) Webb, Peggy (the late Don) Ameln, Bob McWhorter and Judy Knight. dearest brother-in-law of Randy Knight, Ford Buck, Karen Russ and Michael (Lynn) Buck; our dear uncle, cousin and friend to many.

Kenny was treasurer of the St. Vincent de Paul Society at St. Martin of Tours, and a Member of St. Martin of Tours Parish Council.

When Kenny wasn't napping while sunning in his favorite lawn chair in the back yard he enjoyed watching the birds and most especially the humming birds at their various feeders.

Kenny loved getting together with family for holidays and especially aggravating and teasing his nieces and nephews.

A memorial visitation will be held on Friday May 13, 2022 from 10:00 AM until time of a memorial mass at 11:00 AM at St Martin of Tours Catholic Church 610 W. Ripa Ave., Lemay, MO. Interment to follow at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to St. Vincent de Paul Society at St. Martin of Tours, The Leukemia Lymphoma Society or the American Heart Association.
