Many fond memories of K.D.'s infectious laugh, generosity and her care of many of the small theaters' publicity needs in the large Chicago theater scene through the years. May her family and friends take solace in how many individuals and institutions she touched with her work and her spirit.

I have such fond memories of playing with my cousin Linda as a child.  We lost touch but I know how much she always loved drama and am so happy she got to do what she loved, and was so loved by those around her. My thoughts go out to all of her family.

Linda was a fun loving addition to our close group of theatre students at St. Louis University. She was very generous with her fellow students, happily entertaining and sharing her apartment on many occasions. She will be missed.

Our hearts go out to the loved ones of KD Kweskin. Our memories of working with KD in the Chicago theater community are filled with joy, sensitivity and graciousness. We will always treasure that special friendship. Lucia Mauro and Joe Orlandino

I have good memories of being in grade school with Linda and being at your new house in Olivette for a birthday sleepover for her.  Plus your mom was one of our Brownie leaders. I am sorry I never managed to resume contact with her in the last few years and am sorry for the loss of Linda for Jay, Dan and families.

Good thoughts and prayers to K D's family. She was a dear friend to me in Chicago. I met K D in the mid '80's. She was an excellent, really THE go-to publicist for smaller theaters. You could not have known a more pleasant, professional person. We worked together on several occasions and became friends over the years. We did what gals do  had lunch together a lot. I'll miss that and her friendship and her humor and her great good grace.

I am very sorry to hear of your loss. My parents, Joe and Dora Plax were friends of your parents and they all belong to the Y group, the Diablo's for the men and the Better Halves for the women. I have pictures of Linda and Dan when we were little kids, the children of this group of Jewish soldiers during the war years of the 1940's and then the men coming home and starting families and all of us living in U.City. Dan, I remember when you went to Israel and my father sent you a harmonic. Linda will stay in my memory as a playmate at a young age. May she rest in piece. Nancy Plax, Chicago

KD helped me with PR for the first show I ever directed outside of college and she couldn't have been more gracious or a better tutor. We became friends and later, when I went into arts journalism, her professionalism and grace and wit continued to be inspiring. My condolences to all who knew and loved her. She will be so missed.

Linda was one of my favorite cousins, and one of my favorite human beings. She was kind and caring, funny and a joy to be with. She also was brilliant, talented and creative, and  she used her gifts to bring joy and magic to others. Even during her last week's of life, Linda kept her original sense of humor and her concern for loved ones. Rest in,peace, beloved Linda.
