

Marcus was married to the late Nicole Giancana. Together, they built a family that remained at the center of his life. He is survived by his children: Alyssa Giancana, Nikolos Giancana, Corey Jackson, Jordan Hardman, Xadrian Giancana, Tyler Reese, and Lauren Reese. He was also the proud grandfather of seven grandchildren.
A dedicated truck driver for over 20 years, Marcus worked 60 hours a week and took deep pride in providing through consistent effort and responsibility. His work ethic was a defining part of who he was, reflected in the reliability and determination he brought to each day.
In his personal time, Marcus was a devoted fan of the New York Yankees, finding enjoyment and loyalty in the game and the team he followed so faithfully.
In the wake of profound loss, Marcus found Judaism through grief following the death of his wife, Nicole. This journey became part of his personal legacy, reflecting a quiet strength and a searching spirit during one of life’s most difficult seasons.
Marcus will be deeply missed by all who knew him and will be remembered with respect for the life he lived and the family he loved. A Celebration of Life will be held in Topeka, with a date and time pending.
