Marion D. Terry

Marion Terry, nee Henderson, age 85, of St. Louis, received Sacraments of Holy Mother Church on November 10, 2015. She is the dear mother of Tom (Margie) Terry, Dan (Sue) Terry, Ron Terry, Anita (Mike) Lange, Mike Terry, John (Gayle) Terry and Bob (Joan) Terry; beloved grandmother of 14 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. She is survived by a brother Phil Henderson. Marion was preceded in death by her parents and siblings Richard Henderson, Sr. Anita Marie, and Evelyn Henderson.

Marion devoted herself to a life of service to her family friends, and strangers. She told her children not to worry about her, but to serve others as well. Marion was a volunteer at Feed my People and served as a volunteer activity director’s assistant at National Health Care in Ballwin, Mo., where she lived at the time of her passing. Marion was a devoted lector for masses at her nursing home.

A funeral service will be held at 10:30 am, Saturday, November 14, 2015, at St. Mark’s Catholic Church, 8300 Morganford Rd., St. Louis, Mo. 63123. Visitation will be held at church from 9:30 am until the time of service. Visitation will also be from 4-8 pm, Friday, November 13, at Hoffmeister South County Chapel, 1515 Lemay Ferry Road, St. Louis, Mo. 63125.
