Marvin Alan Prywitch, 95, husband of Shirley Prywitch, the love of his life for 68 years, passed away peacefully on November 29, 2025. He was born October 27, 1930, in East St. Louis, Illinois and raised his family in St. Louis. A graduate of Washington University and a veteran of the Korean conflict, he was a successful grocer for many years. Family was most important to Marvin, and his love of baseball, especially the St. Louis Cardinals, was passed down to his sons and grandchildren.
Beloved husband of Shirley Prywitch; dear father and father-in-law of Rick (Audrey) Prywitch; Brett (Lynne) Prywitch; loving grandfather of Randy (Annie) Prywitch, Lauren (Brett) Boresow, Jamie (Richie) Gallant, Danny (Fiancée Michelle Leshchinsky) Prywitch and Scott (Sophie Berne) Prywitch; loving great-grandfather of Bennett and Rory Gallant, Capri Boresow, Jack and Sutton Prywitch; dear son of the late Paul and the late Birdie Prywitch; dear brother of the late Robert (Edith) Prywitch; dear uncle, cousin and friend to many.
