Melba was born March 30, 1930 in Marquand, Missouri to the late Charles A. and Edith N. Labrot (nee Carlson). Melba was the loving wife of the late Alvin (Jr.) Lewis; loving mother of the late Kenneth L. (Kenny) Lewis and survived by Beloved Daughter Anita C.(Richard) Kuchar (née Lewis), her Brother Willard LaBrot, and by Beloved Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Many Friends!
A visitation for Melba will be held Sunday, March 6, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Hoffmeister South County Chapel, 1515 Lemay Ferry Road, St. Louis, MO 63125. A funeral service will occur Monday, March 7, 2022 at 11:30 AM, 1515 Lemay Ferry Road, St. Louis, MO 63125. A committal service will occur Monday, March 7, 2022 at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
A luncheon will be held in Melba’s honor at 1:30 pm after Jefferson Barracks committal at The Connection Church 6700 Virginia Avenue 63111.
