Beloved husband of Nanette Sirkus Suffian; dear father and father-in-law of Joel Suffian (Traci), Leigh Suffian, Holly Suffian and Ruby Suffian (canine); dear grandfather of Abigail Suffian, Maggie Okun, Isabella Suffian, Elizabeth Suffian, and Madeline Suffian; dear son of the late Tillie and the late Fred Suffian; dear brother of Jerry Suffian, the late Simone Goldberg (Leonard), and Robert Suffian (Carolyn); dear son-in-law of the late Lee and the late Paul Sirkus; dear brother-in-law of the late Sandy (the late Louise) Sirkus; dear uncle, cousin, colleague and friend to many.
Mike was a family-oriented, patriotic, hard-working man. He had a positive outlook and influenced many over the years. He volunteered throughout his life, with Jewish Federation and most recently at NCH hospital in Naples. He was always up for helping a friend with a project or offering advice when asked (or not!). His passions included Israel, his family, and Atlas Supply, which he remained involved with until recently. He had lifelong friends and was always making new ones. No one was more important to him than his brother & business partner Bob, his grandchildren, and his loving wife, Nan.
Funeral Service Friday, March 6 at 1 PM at United Hebrew Congregation, 13788 Conway Road. Visitation begins at 12:15 PM. Burial follows at Beth Hamedrosh Hagodol Cemetery, 9125 Ladue Road. Memorial contributions to Jewish Federation of St. Louis (Israel Fund) or a charity of your choice.
