Muredda Sue Winningham, age 75, of Forsyth, Missouri passed away on Saturday, May 7, 2022. Muredda was born December 30, 1946 to Vernon and Iva (Curtis) Usher whom have preceded her in death along with her husband, John Winningham as well as her siblings, Thelma, Mary, Fern, Charles, Tommy, James and Chester and a grandson, Benjamin Blackwood.
Muredda leaves behind her children, Billy (Jackie) Blackwood, Brenna (John) Woods, John Winningham and Jocelyn Swayze. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Britny, Heath and Ryan Rogers, Joseph and Sarah Swayze, Michael, Stephen-Carlson, Dylan and Jessee Blackwood, and her great grandchildren, Brayden Hamilton, Rylan Yielding, Iris, Ellie, Riley and Sutton Blackwood. She was an adoring mother, grandmother, aunt, cousin and a friend and will be missed by many.
Muredda never met a stranger, she could strike up a conversation with anyone who was willing to visit with her. She enjoyed watching television, especially a good ‘murder mystery’. Some of her hobbies including spending time with her grandchildren and visiting the park, going bird watching with her daughter and enjoying the beauty of all flowers.
A visitation for Muredda will be held Tuesday, May 17, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Hoffmeister South County Chapel, 1515 Lemay Ferry Road, St. Louis, Missouri. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at 10:00 AM in the Chapel at the funeral home. A committal service will occur Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at St. Trinity Cemetery, 2160 Lemay Ferry Road, St. Louis, Missouri.
