Nancy Louise Ramsey (nèe Luebke) 67, a resident of Hillsboro, MO passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving husband and their two daughters on Thursday, July 2, 2020 after a two-and-a-half-year battle with brain cancer.
She was born on July 25, 1952 in St. Louis, MO to Robert Luebke and Carolyn Luebke (nèe Boyd). Nancy received a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Washington University. She was united in marriage to Steven Ramsey on July 6, 1973 in Florissant, MO. Despite battling several forms of cancer and two liver transplants, Nancy enjoyed all things outdoors including time spent on the water, nature watching, and was an avid gardener. Nancy truly cherished time spent with her family, friends, and became a grandmother on June 26, 2020.
Nancy is survived by her husband of 47 years, Steven Ramsey of Hillsboro, MO; daughters, Melissa Ward, her husband Matthew Ward, and their son Ezra of Kansas City, MO, and Lisa Ramsey of Richmond Heights, MO; parents Robert Luebke and Carolyn Luebke of Florissant, MO; brothers Michael Luebke of Oakland City, IN, and Ralph Luebke of Florissant, MO.
Visitation to be held at Hoffmeister South County Chapel, 1515 Lemay Ferry Road, St. Louis, MO on Friday, July 10, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 12 Noon. Inurnment at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
