I still think about that beautiful smile on a daily basis!!

My dear Nina. I am just heartbroken. I’ve known you for 15 years and they were all wonderful. You have always been there for me no questions asked. One of my favorite memories is when I was going through a breakup, you had me stay the night at your house. We were up all night in our pjs watching funny movies. In the morning you took me out to breakfast, you constantly making me laugh so I wouldn’t cry. You were such a incredible person, so silly, with a smile that lights up the room the very second you walk through it. You are missed is so many ways sweet girl!!! I love you baby girl, and I thank you for being such an amazing friend! Always making me feel loved. 

Nina was my dear sweet niece, the daughter of my husband's sister (Sheryl). I first met her when she was in high school, a bubbly teenager whose smile lit up the room. I loved seeing Nina whenever the family got together. My daughter Luna adored her - I should say that EVERYONE adored her. I spent the her last  night with her - we had a wonderful time having deep conversations about her life in Idaho, about critical race theory... and watched the Wizard of Oz together. Nina I will always love you. I wish we had spent more time together, but am grateful for my memories I do have with you. 

I remember her from SCHECHTER. Nina had a great smile and laugh.  What a great personality.   She will be missed.

It’s been 16 days since we lost you. It’s been 16 days since I’ve said goodbye. I finally feel like I am able to share some memories. But saying that, I don’t have just one simple memory. I can’t even tell you the first time we met. I’m guessing it was when we both were around 2 or earlier and our family had a get together.  95% of this side of the family memories involve you and me in some way. You’re also in 90% of my childhood memories. I remember playing with Barbie’s in my basement. I remember our obsession with the PoshGirls! I remember our fights and our makeups. I will have your laugh ingrained in my brain for the rest of my life. 
In recent years we both found our way back to St. Louis. We didn’t get together as much as we hoped because we either were on off schedules or didn’t have the same free days. But when we did get together it was like time never stopped. We always had our big hugs hello, big hugs goodbye and even just because hugs. We could talk for hours or even just hang by the pool and nap. 
I don’t know if I will ever get over rescheduling our plans on Saturday (your last day on earth). But I know you Nina Bina and I know you are watching over all of us. I love you so much babe and will miss you for the rest of my life. Keep smiling and dancing up there and meeting everyone. I know even G-d won’t be a stranger to you and will love you with open arms.

I’m David Katz’s sister, jake and Britt’s aunt.  I am so very sorry for your loss.  It is heartbreaking 💔. I remember Nina when she was very  young, getting together for family gatherings and holidays.  Always so sweet, kind and happy.

I called her tinker bell bc she’s bubbly and full of sunshine! We were in the same apartment in Israel. 

To Nina’s parents… i want you all to know that she was an amazing human being who radiated joy and happiness. We met through a mutual friend and I was lucky to have met and known her. Nina was always smiling and always laughing. She could make friends with anyone in a room because being kind and friendly was just in her nature. She will be tremendously missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. RIP sweet angel. BDE

Since middle school, we’ve always called each other twins. We had the same birthday! Same year same day same city… and at age 10 we thought that was the coolest thing to know… so we always acknowledged our birthdays together and always had a brother and sister vibe.. I always have had the upmost respect for her. Nina made me feel important. I’ll always Love you TWIN 

I first met Nina at an NCSY shabbaton we both were attending. She was this petite blondie with the biggest smile. She was the life of the party and quickly she became friends with myself and my friends. We both were interested in attending Machon Maayan when Rav K came to that shabbaton, and I knew if we were to attend together we would be fast friends. Boy was I right. We both were put into the same yellow house and our friendship evolved. She was goofy, hilarious, sweet, a great dancer, a great listener, compassionate, and genuinely a warm and good person. She had a rare ability to really connect to people. She loved to give hugs and was a ball of energy! She lit up any room she walked into. And was the definition of fun. I’ll never forget her infectious smile and laugh. She will be sorely missed. Sending my deepest condolences to her entire family during this difficult time. 

I met Nina in 2001 at camp Sabra.
She and her amazing parents "adopted" the israeli counselors after the camp was done.
We stayed with Nina and her family and got to know this lovely girl. She was like a young sister to me, and i can still remember going with her and the dogs to the park to play softball.
I will keep her memory in my heart.

When Nina was in first and second grades, I had the privilege  of being her teacher at Solomon Schechter Day School. Nina was an incredible kid.  And although teachers are not supposed to pick favorites, for two years Nina was one of mine. It would have been impossible for her not to be. She was kind, outgoing, creative, spirited, funny,  and had morals way beyond her years. And her genuine smile lit up the room. She was truly loved by all her classmates and all of the teachers who came into contact with her. She was a gem. 
I have many memories of Nina, but this one will always stand out.  When Nina was in second grade, all the kids had to pick and read a biography.  They then had to do a report in front of the class about the person as that person.  Nina picked Gloria Estefan. Being the creative and spirited person she was, Nina walked into the classroom decked out in something Gloria Estefan would wear in concert.  She was done up to a tee including hair, jewelry and makeup.  And at the end of her presentation, Nina played a Gloria Estefan cd and danced and sang to the song.  It was incredible that as an 8 year old, she was so confident in herself.  She was the only child to go completely all out like that.  Nina will forever be in my heart. I was lucky enough to reconnect with her on social media and feel a part of her adult life . My love and strength goes to Sheryl, Bobby and the rest of her family for this unfathomable loss. 

Nina, I love you so much❤️ You were such a great person inside and out! My heart is so heavy knowing I have to go to your funeral! It doesn’t even seem real! I met Nina in highschool and we cheered together and were neighbors! Everyone who met Nina loved her! She was such a joy to be around! She used to come to my house like 2 houses over and ride to school with us in the morning🥰 I will never forget you , your smile, your laugh, and the positive energy u always brought w you! Nina I love you and may your beautiful soul RIP💔 I’m praying for everyone who knew Nina especially her family❤️

I met nina during my year in Israel where we became roommates. I instantly fell in love with her. Her care free, vibrant, and bubbly personality made her one of my favorite people to be around. We always had the best time together, it didn’t matter where we were or what we were doing. She stayed by me the weekend of my wedding because she lived so far away and wouldn’t miss it for the world. All I wanted was to be there for hers .I am  so lucky to have known such a beautiful person. Nina was ambitious, motivated, and ready to achieve her life’s goals - and was well on her way! I loved her, and always will. Rest in peace my Angel.

I only knew Nina for a short time. I will say her smile and  her laughter was infectious!!! She was always to me a very positive upbeat young lady that I will definitely miss. Prayers for the family.

Love you so very much Nina. When I was told you and Bailey shared a toilet seat in kindergarten, I knew you and she were meant to be cousins and great friends. So many  memories. You stayed the funny, kind, loving soul you were then...Some of us hurt big and love big and that's why we are meant to be family. So grateful you were in my life. 

Nina touched many lives.  She was a friend to everyone.  But to me, Nina was my best friend.  And like many, I cannot comprehend a life without her here.  Both only children, we would often refer to each other as sisters.  Though we could never convince anyone of this, mostly because of our height difference and her extroverted personality.  I will always remember Nina’s easy going, enthusiastic, and kind hearted spirit.  I will never forget the endless laughs we shared.  I will always remember Nina as my cheerleader, confidant, and partner in crime.  I find comfort knowing she’s at peace now, and that Nina will be forever remembered in the highest regard by those who have had the opportunity to know her.

I had the amazing blessing of being Nina's roommate since the beginning of October, and I got to know her magnificent smile, positive attitude, her sense of humor and how beautiful she was inside and out. I miss waking up next to her in the mornings and seeing her smiling face. She quickly became one of my best friends since day one when we met and went to a Halloween party together in the spirit of recovery. She was such a beautiful, bright shining light in this world and she will be sorely missed. I love you so much, Nina and I'm sad that the universe took you way too soon. You are amazing and I can't wait until we meet again one day.

Hurts to write this... Nina was one of my best friends in High School. We had so much fun together on the cheerleading squad. She would make me laugh so hard. Some of my favorite memories are with Nina. When I was going through a hard time senior year, whenever she would see me she would run up and give me a big hug and make sure I was smiling. I will miss her so much. Thank you Nina for being such a great friend. I Love you Nina <3333

I meet Nina at the Jewish community center where we became friends right away Nina was so easy to get along with and talk to we had a lot of laughs! she came out to celebrate my birthday and went to dinner! She also served my boyfriend and I at pumpernickel for breakfast i new she worked there so we went and we loved it was our first time there! Nina you will always be in our thoughts and prayers love you so much girl!! 🥰😥

I knew Nina as a young girl who was lovely on the inside and out.  Sheryl, Nina's mom, was my Bat Mitzvah tutor and I spent many hours in their home trying to learn how to chant my torah and haftarah portions.  

I wanted to relay my deepest condolences and share that I will be thinking of Nina, her parents and loved ones.

I was saddened  to  hear  of Nina's  passing.   I  got to know  Nina  from  my days  as a substitute  teacher  at  Ladue  Horton  Watkins  High  School   and later as a server at Pumpernickels restaurant . I was always   happy  to  see her.  Nina had a wonderful  smile, tremendous  enthusiasm  and  seemingly  an endless  amount  of   energy. Nina could light  up a  room  and always  made you feel  comfortable.    
My  heartfelt  condolences  to  her  family. Nina will be  missed. 

I’ve known Nina for a very long time. We were roommates in St. Louis and in Denver. We’ve spent so much time together over the years and she was always someone who would brighten the room. Words can’t describe how much she will be missed. 

I also met Nina at Pumpernickels when she worked there.  She always had a smile on her face even when she was so busy waiting
on tables.  

I also know her grandfather Irv Rosen and she helped him so much.
I googled her name and was so impressed with what she had done
with her life and still  had so much to offer.  I was so proud of her and I know her family was too.  She will be so missed.

Nina was my firecracker. I was her youth group advisor and I remembered having to incorporate all the 11 year old private and public school girls together. It was tough. But Nina was so smiley and welcoming, it was not hard to blend our bunk together. I've known Nina for 20 years. Our lives went this way and that way but we always had a moment to catch up. Time NEVER was an issue. We always picked up where we left off. It was such a wonderful journey to watch her grow and then become one as friends. She was such a ray of sunshine. She always stood up for what's right. She always shared her culture while being fully engulfed in it in her own way. And she was one of the kindest people I have ever known. I will truly miss her. She will always be one of my girls. Forever. Love you Nina girl

I felt so good around Nina because of her infectious smile and her wonderful laugh. She was a beautiful person on the outside and on the inside. My heart is broken for her loss and for all of her family. May she Rest In Peace. 

Nina and I grew up together, went to school together, and even worked together. We were always friends, always laughing, and always learning from one another over the past 20 years. We unconditionally understood who each other were. I respected her greatly for that. Months could go by, but we were always able to pick up right where we left off. 
Ultimately, there are no words to truly describe how very special Nina was. She was so refreshingly blunt, hilarious, sharp, and constantly searching for the best in others. She always rooted for the underdog, spoke up for any injustice, and shared her culture with those around her. 
It was only over the last few years that our friendship really began to blossom, and I will always cherish those moments. My deepest sympathy and condolences to her family and closest friends. She loved you all so much, and always had the most wonderful things to say about all of you. 

I’m so terribly sorry to hear about Nina Levina. She was  a beautiful soul, and ALWAYS had a smile on her face. She so sweet, and she was a joy to see whenever we went to Pumpernickel’s. She lit up my Sunday breakfast, along with the rest of the customers, I’m sure! 
 I have one special  memory that stands out, of a time when I was being my usual goofy self. All of a sudden, it hit her and she said, “OMG! You’re just like Dory!” (From Finding Nemo)  Yes, she got me, and we all laughed! I will miss  her very much! Sending my love and condolences. I can hardly believe it.
