Pauline Ann Fischer

FISCHER, Pauline A., 86, peacefully on Sunday, April 7, 2013 after 5 years with the Sarah Community at the Anna House. Pauline was the daughter of the late William P. and Anna (Bruemmer) Fischer; sister of the late Sr. Anne Fischer, SSND; a cousin to her caregiver, Dorothy Bartnett; along with many other dear cousins and wonderful caregivers at Anna House/ Sarah Community. Pauline was a graduate of Notre Dame H.S. (’44) and the Brown Business College. She worked for J. C. Penny in the administration office and then was employed as a secretary to the Vice President at Consolidated Aluminum Co. (now Ormet) until her retirement. She attended the Art School at Washington University and was known as a very talented artist with a quick wit and infectious laugh. During her life she enjoyed travelling and seeing the world. We wish to thank the caregivers at the Sarah Community for their love and devotion to Pauline.
