Conlisk, Dr. Peter J. baptized into the hope Christ’s Resurrection on Saturday, July 17, 2010 at his home in West St. Louis County.Beloved husband of Susan Conlisk; dear father of Anne Marie Foley, Jim Conlisk, Dan Conlisk and Betsy Solomon; dear grandfather of eleven.
Dr. Conlisk earned his Bachelors and Masters degrees from Notre Dame and his Ph.D from University of Michigan in mechaqnical engineering. He initially worked in the aerospace industry, joined Monsanto Company in 1968, then opened his consulting business in 1993, Conlist Engineering Mechanics.
Dr. Conlisk was the Parish Council President of St. Richards Catholic Church, a Eucharistic minster and member of the St. Vincent de Paul Society.
Funeral from Kriegshauser West Mortuary, 9450 Olive Blvd (63132) Wednesday, July 21, 2010, 9:30 AM to St. Richards Catholic Church, 11223 Schuetz Road (63146) for Mass at 10:00 AM Interment Forever Bellerive Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations are preferred to the St. Vincent de Paul Society of St. Richards Church or the National Cancer Research Center, P.O. box 96676, Washington DC (20090-6676). Visitation Tuesday, July 20, 2010, 4:00 – 8:00 PM.
