Ronald Ernest James, age 81, of Florissant, Missouri passed away on Sunday, January 8, 2023. Ronald was born July 2, 1941 to Ernest and Mildred (nee Russell) James who have preceded him in death along with his wife, Bonnie (nee Hanse) and brothers in law; George Albers, Jr. and Rich Ritchey.
Ronald leaves behind his sisters, Sharon Ritchey and Janet Albers. He was an uncle and great uncle to several nieces and nephews.
Ronald was best known for his sense of humor and was a practical joker, always ready for a good prank. He was very involved in the deaf community. Ronald and his wife, Bonnie would travel in their Winnebago to different conferences and campsites. Ronald enjoyed photography, wood-working, and collecting Native American Indian artifacts. He was a kind man and will certainly be missed by those who knew him.
A visitation for Ronald will be held Tuesday, January 17, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Hoffmeister South County Chapel, 1515 Lemay Ferry Road, St. Louis, MO 63125; followed by a funeral service at 12:00 PM. Ronald will be laid to rest with his beloved, Bonnie at Shepherd Hills Cemetery, 1925 Old State Road M, Barnhart, MO 63012.
