Samuella "Sammy" E. Sanders

Beloved daughter of the late Jack and the late Rose Sanders; dear sister and sister-in-law of Lorraine Laiderman (late Stanley); dear aunt of Howard Laiderman (Bonnie), Barry Laiderman (Lisa), Steven Laiderman (Tammi) and Caryn Babich. Dear great aunt and great great-aunt, cousin and friend.

Sammy attended Washington University before her long career at Stix, Baer & Fuller, beginning as a fashion-display coordinator in 1958, and later as an executive. As a veteran of the St. Louis garment district, she participated in the events surrounding the St. Louis Fashion Fund official announcement of the buildout of its new fashion incubator in 2016. She was so very honored to be a speaker and share her experiences when people came downtown to see the window displays.

To Sammy, her niece and nephews, and their families, were her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and to those that knew her, they knew her best friend was her sister, Lorraine. She will be missed by many.

Visitation Thursday, March 31st 12:30 PM at Berger Memorial Chapel, 9430 Olive Blvd, followed by funeral service at 1:00 PM.

Interment United Hebrew Cemetery. Memorial contributions preferred to the Stanley Laiderman Tribute Fund at United Hebrew Temple.
