Treva was born in Saint Louis, MO, on December 1, 1966 to Harold and Florene (Wheaton) Smith. She was married to Reverend Arlie Singleton of Friendship Assembly of God.
Preceded in death by her father, Harold Smith. Treva is survived by her husband, Arlie Singleton; mother, Florene Smith; sister, Robin Parson; niece, Stephanie Fleming (and her husband, Andrew); nephew, Aaron Ligons; great-nephew, Ethan; great-niece, Avalon; and generations of much-loved cousins.
She graduated from Lindbergh High School, attended Evangel College, and graduated from Free Gospel Bible Institute. God gave Treva many talents which she used in her lifetime of Christian ministry—holding Kid’s Crusades, teaching at the Special School District and numerous Christian schools, speaking at women’s conferences, preaching, singing, leading worship, etc. Treva left a legacy of being a blessing to all through her ministry.
The viewing will be from 4-8 pm on Friday, December 21, at Friendship Assembly of God. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, December 22, at Friendship Assembly of God, officiated by Pastor Arlie Singleton. Interment will follow at Jonesboro cemetery in Jonesboro, IL, at 2:30 pm.
