Viet Duong, born on October 10, 1929, in Saigon, Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam, passed away peacefully on November 8, 2025, at the age of 96, surrounded by her loving family. She was a resident of Overland, Missouri. She is a devoted wife and mother of seven. She dedicated her entire life to caring for her family, putting their needs above her own, and showering them with unconditional love.
She is survived by: her five children: Sim Phung (Cuong Tang), Huy Phung (Nho Duong), Richard Phung (Diana Huang), Khang Phung (Diem Nguyen), and Lien Phung (Kieu Chau); her eleven grandchildren: Hung, Kathy, Ann, Henry, Helen, Kevin, Michelle, Christine, Elvis, Anna, and Hoang Anh; her eight great grandchildren: Chelsea, Colby, Ava, Andrew, Aubrey, Abby, Aiden, and Evelyn.
A Buddhist Service will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at 9:00 am, with visitation continuing until 2 pm, at:
