Hardwick, Virginia Lee (Nicely) after 88 years of life joined her Lord in heaven on May 23, 2013. God care for her soul. Mother of the late Barbara (Bobbie) Nicely, and surviving children Kathy (Del) Sellenriek, Gary (Teri) Nicely, Brad Nicely and Marcia Nicely (Spencer). Dear grandmother of Beth, Jen, Kelly, Scott, Lauren and Sydney. Sweet great-grandmother of Brennan, Brody, Logan and Sophia.
She loved her God and her family above all. She was loved by her friends and neighbors whom always mentioned her great love and sweetness. With her family she resided in Creve Coeur on Decker Lane for 34 years before moving to her Ballwin home where she resided for 24 years. A former member at St. Paul United Church of Christ in Creve Coeur for many years, she joined and loved St. John United Church of Christ on Sulphur Spring Road when she moved to Ballwin. She had a deep faith in God and enjoyed participating in her church community and bible study group there. Virginia supported the Circle of Concern community assistance charity, actively working there for a period and financially donating what she could. Her family would like to express their gratitude to the loving staff of Mercy Hospice. What important work you perform. Thank you.
Services: A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 8, at 10:00 a.m. at St. John United Church of Christ, 332 Old Sulphur Spring Rd, Manchester, MO.
