Amelina Boutte Domingue

LOREAUVILLE – A Funeral service will be conducted for Mrs. Egbert Domingue, Sr., the former Amelina Boutte, age 93, at 3:00 pm Friday, 2013 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church with Deacon Theo Landry officiating. Interment will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 am Friday at Evangeline Funeral Home in St. Martinville until service time.

A native of St. Martin Parish and resident of Charenton, Mrs. Domingue passed away at11:25 pm on Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at her residence.

She is survived by her daughter, Nelda Charpentier of Charenton; four sons, Egbert Domingue, Jr., of Charenton; Calvin Domingue of Arkansas; Henry Domingue of St. Martinville and Clifton Domingue, Sr. of Seattle, WA; one sister, Isabelle Couvillier of Baytown, TX; a special great granddaughter, Macey Charpentier; fifty seven grandchildren; over one hundred great grandchildren and numerous great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Egbert Domingue, Sr.; parents, Louis and Noemie Bonin Boutte; three sons, Audressie Domingue, Sr.; Roland Domingue and Russell Domingue; two daughers, Bertha Kelley and Joyce Barras; two brothers, Alcibiade Bonin and Anthony Boutte and three sisters, Marthasie Hebert, Alzier Smith and Sophie Bonin.

Pallbearers will be members of the family.
