Lindsey Michelle Doucet

Lindsey was born on November 13, 1987 in Lafayette to Rachel Doucet Courville. She was a kind and loving girl who enjoyed the simple things in life. Lindsey loved spending time with her siblings, especially with Bethanie and Coby, and being around her family. She was a humble and grounded woman who just loved living life. Everyone that knew Lindsey knew that she was a jokester and could make you laugh in an instant. It was always a pleasure to visit with her and a blessing to her call her your friend. The family will treasure the times spent with Lindsey and keep her legacy alive in their hearts and thoughts. Until we meet again, rest well and we love you.

Those left to cherish her memory are Rozlynn Gaudet, Desiree Gresham, and Christian Gresham, whom she loved if they were her children; siblings, Coby Courville (Abby LeBlanc), Bethanie Doucet; step-siblings, Alton Hayes, Christina Clements, Erica Hayes, Nina Pumphrey, Dadra Stewart, Edward Boutin; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins; her maternal grandmother, Arsene Doucet Blanchard; paternal grandmother, Barbara Noel; father, Eric Hayes (Cheryl); step-father, Lennis “Nanu” Courville; and aunts and uncles, Arliss Blanchard, Rosalyn B. Dartez (Ben Dartez) , and Crystal Blanchard (Allen “Bert” Blanchard, Jr.).

She was preceded in death by her mother, Rachel Doucet Courville; Maternal grandfather, Wilmer Blanchard; paternal step-grandfather, Leroy Noel; paternal grandfather, Jeffery Hayes; and longtime companion, Steven Gresham.
