Patrick was born in 1932, to Louis and Cecilie Poche’ Landry and was one of seven children. He was a man of few words who liked to sit back quietly with a beer in his hand and observe. Patrick worked in Africa for most of his life as a dredge boat operator aboard the “Kitty Bean”. After his retirement he returned to Louisiana to be with his family. He was an avid gardener and looked forward to the spring when he could plant cucumbers, okra, tomatoes, and many more. He will be forever remembered as a loving father, grandfather, and great grandfather and will be missed by all those who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his children, Karen L. Alleman (Merlin), Kathy L. LeBlanc (Jimmy), Kenneth Landry (Melissa), and Victor Patrick; grandchildren, Parker Alleman (Alida), Sonya Alleman, Kacy Alleman, Shawn LeBlanc, Kelsey LeBlanc, Demi L. Scheinuk (Drew), Morgan L. Hackney (Matthew), Roman Patrick, Ivonna Patrick, and Grace Patrick; and great grandchildren, Marlowe Alleman, Cecilia “Cece” Scheinuk, and Camille Scheinuk.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Suzanne Roberts Landry; parents, Louis and Cecilie Landry; and siblings, Mildred L. Breaux, Alida L. Landry, Agnes L. Cormier, Wallace Landry, Lambert Landry, and Herman Landry.
In keeping with the families wishes, services will be private.
Pallbearers will be members of the family.
