Randy Joseph Latiolais

CATAHOULA –Memorial Services will be conducted for Mr. Randy Joseph Latiolais, age 61, at 11:00 am Saturday, April 2, 2016 at St. Rita’s Catholic Church with Fr. Richard Fabre officiating. Interment will be held privately at a later date at Our Lady of the Lake Mausoleum.

A native of St. Martin Parish and resident of Catahoula, Mr. Latiolais passed away at 1:06 pm on, Friday, March 18, 2016 at Lafayette General Medical Center.

Mr. Latiolais graduated from USL in 1978 and loved watching baseball and football programs of UL and also LSU. He was a great friend and listener, who enjoyed catching up with old friends and also enjoyed traveling. He was affectionately known as “Grumpy” by his granddaughter, whom he was very proud of and loved very much. He will be missed by his family and friends.

He is survived by his son, Zachary F. Latiolais and wife Beverly of Catahoula; one granddaughter, Lily Rose Latiolais; two brothers, Raleigh Latiolais and wife Kathryn of Cathaoula; Kelsie Latiolais and wife Glenda of Breaux Bridge; two sisters, Sarah L. Grivat and husband Lennet of New Iberia and Janelle L. Judice and husband Patrick of Loreauville.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Kimberly Haydel Latiolais; parents, Clarence “Coon” and Ethel “Pye” Theriot Latiolais and one niece, Donna Latiolais.
