COTEAU HOLMES – Funeral Services will be conducted for Ricky James Bonin, age 47, at 1:00 pm Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at Coteau Holmes Full Gospel Church with Perry Bonin officiating. Interment will follow at the church cemetery.

Visitation will be held at the church from 2:00 pm on Monday until the service time on Tuesday.

A native of Lafayette and resident of Coteau Holmes, Ricky passed away at 8:20 pm on Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at his residence.

Ricky worked as a commercial fishermen his entire life. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, aand shooting pool. He will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his mother, Annette Smith Domingue and husband Simon “Mack” Domingue of Coteau Holmes; one brother, Delmus “PieYo” Bonin and one sister, Danielle “Poopae” Bonin and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Anthony Bonin, Jr.; one sister, Alma Marie “Sister” Bonin and one brother, Adonis Paul “Noonie” Bonin.

Pallbearers will be Delmus Bonin, T Clarence, T Don, Lil Don, T Allen, Danielle, Merlin Bourque and Johnny Smith.
