Beth Didion

Beth Didion, age 63, of St. Petersburg, Florida, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 2, 2024. Known for her warm spirit, generous heart, and deep dedication to family and friends, Beth will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Born in Pittsburgh, PA on February 3rd, 1961. Beth graduated from Hilltop Catholic High School, Pittsburgh, PA in 1979 and pursued her love for storytelling by earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism from Point Park College, Pittsburgh, PA in 1983. She built a career defined by her integrity, curiosity, and dedication to sharing stories that enriched her community.

She is survived by her beloved sisters, Susan Didion Sawyer and Margaret Didion Parker, her brothers-in-law, Jeffrey Sawyer and David Parker, and her cherished nieces and nephews. Beth was preceded in death by her father, Charles Didion, in 1990; her mother, Anne Hardiman Didion, in 1999; and her sister, Kathryn Lee Didion, in 1978.

Her family invites all who knew her to join in celebrating her life and honoring her memory by sharing stories of the joy she brought to so many.
