Dear Stan and Tara,

 I am so sorry for your loss. I believe that the most important thing we can do upon the passing of a loved one, is to share their life's story. Hold your memories close to your heart, but share them with family and strangers alike.  Others like to hear about a good person.  

 You both are in my prayers, and the rest of your family, as well!

Rest in Peace, Claire.  My heart breaks for Colleen and Steve, Tara and all the rest of your family and friends...you will be greatly missed. A huge ray of sunshine is gone from their lives...❤

I met Claire through her daughter Colleen when I was 17 years old. Colleen and I were best friends (blood sisters). Claire opened up her home to me to live until I finished high school. She treated me like one of her own children. Claire was not afraid to tell me exactly what was on her mind at times when we were mischievous. She would let me know when I was pushing her buttons. She help me with job searches (unemployment) and insurance companies when I was injured from a car accident. She was very caring and always interested in how I was doing. She was very positive and supportive like moms are. I met a lot of interesting people through our friendship over the years and some have remained in my life today. The Lord had his hand on my life even in those days by way of Claire. I first saw my future husband at Claire's house on Caesar Way. We had some really good times at that house. I was married to that man in 1992. Claire again opened her home to me and hosted our wedding party for a luncheon at her house (Historic house).  The entire Kearney family was there to celebrate. It meant so much to me to have them part of that special time. After I was married, I moved to NC.  We remained friends over the years. Claire was/is important to me and I made sure to get by and see her whenever I was in town for a visit. We would sit for hours catching up. We enjoyed catching up in May of last year at her new (new to me) home in St. Pete. That was one thing Claire was super good at opening her home to others. She loved life and people.  She was a good friend and sometimes mom to me. I will always be thankful and grateful to the Lord for the allowing Claire into my life. I will miss you bunches.  You will forever be in my heart.

Cousin Claire is a model for how to live with positive energy, love, and curiosity. It truly was shocking to learn of Claire's passing, and she has certainly left us wanting more. We will miss you.

Claire was one of my very favorite people in this world. She was strong, smart, hilarious, and incredibly kind. She meant the world to my children whom she helped me take care of as little ones. I love you, Claire.

Claire was such a sweet and caring women. I looked forward to seeing her every time she was scheduled with Dr.Samuel, she would always put a smile on my face and we would have so much to talk about. even though she was here for us to care for her she would always ask how myself and my kids were doing. I was so distraught when i heard this sad news, Claire was one of my favorite patients, It makes me happy to know i saw her recently in January we talked and I gave her a big hug after her visit. I am deeply sorry for your loss, Claire was so special and i know she will be looking down from above like the angel she was.
