Born on June 10th, 1951 in Gary, Indiana, Dan lived a life defined by warmth, optimism and enduring love for those closest to him.
Dan moved to Florida in the early 90’s, following his dream of the beach life. He married his loving wife Clare, who shared his love of beaches and sunsets, in 1993, on the beach at Palm Island, Florida.
Dan spent his career in hospitality where his outgoing personality and infectious laugh made all he met feel like old friends.
Dan offered the simple gift of friendship, making all smile brighter and laugh louder.
Those he met may forget what he said but never forget how he made them feel.
Dan was a 1973 graduate of Butler University where he was a member of the Bulldog football team and Sigma Chi fraternity.
Dan is survived by his wife Clare Halloran, his son Ty Hurner (Giselle); his grandchildren Gray and Presley; his stepsons Donny and William Supple (Merle); two step grandchildren, Connor & Madelyn Supple; his brother Kevin Halloran (Lori); his sister Kathleen O’Halloran (William Padula); and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
