Elizabeth Jane Buchanan

She had been a resident of Tierra Verde, Florida. Elizabeth was born on the family farm in Lomax, Illinois on May 7, 1928. Her parents were Herbert Edgar and Wanda (Fisher) Pence. She married Thomas Taylor in 1954 and they had four children. Elizabeth is survived by two children Patricia Seck (Wagoner, ok) and David Taylor (Debbie) of Macomb, Illinois. She was preceded in death by two daughters, Dr. Barbara Parker and Diane McBride. Elizabeth later married Jack Buchanan (deceased) in Fairview Heights, Illinois, on May 22, 1989. She has ten grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. Elizabeth owned, Jane Taylor interiors for 40 years, and also owned Taylor Soil Lab in Macomb, Illinois for 22 years. She is a member of St. Matthews Methodist Church in Belleville, Illinois. She loved to play cards with all of her friends and family, was an avid St. Louis Cardinal fan/ season ticket holder and since moving to Florida she also was an avid Tampa Bay Rays fan. Elizabeth requested there be no memorial service. The family may gather later to celebrate her 96 years of life.
