Maureen Kubick

Maureen B. Kubick, age 93, of St. Pete Beach, passed away on August 16, 2025. Born in Waterville, Ireland, in 1931, she came to Chicago, Illinois, at the age of 18, where she later met and married the love of her life, Richard Kubick. Together, they raised six children. In 1976, the family relocated to Cleveland, and in 1992, Maureen and Richard moved to Florida to enjoy their retirement years.

Maureen was a devoted and faith-filled member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church, where she served as a Eucharistic Minister and volunteered her time generously. She was also an active member of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas and the St. Vincent de Paul Society.

Above all, Maureen was a deeply devoted mother and grandmother. She dedicated her life to her family with endless love, guidance, and support.

She is survived by her sons Jerry, Dennis (Patty), Michael, and Eddie (fiancée Rebecca); and by her cherished grandchildren, Mark, Anne, Jason, Michael, Shannon, Danny, Amanda, Evan, Tyler, and Hannah. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Richard, her daughters Julia and Joanna and her siblings Sean, Michael, Paddy and Sheila.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 22, 2025, at Beach Memorial Chapel, 301 Corey Avenue, St. Pete Beach, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at 1:30 p.m. at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 445 82nd Avenue, St. Pete Beach.
