Messenger, Wallace “Skip” 63 of St Petersburg died of COPD on 9/15/2014 at Suncoast Hospice, Pinellas Park, FL. Born in Paterson, NJ; he moved to St Petersburg, FL in 1960, attended Dixie Hollins High School and served in the US Marine Corps. A civil War buff, and an avid Dallas Cowboy fan, he was the owner of Battlefield Press Printing. He is survived by his two sons; Kevin and Nathan Messenger of Tallahassee, FL, a daughter, Lindsay Maxedon of Gretna, LA, four sisters, Jeanne Bruggeman, Donna Blakeley and Judy Heinchon of St Petersburg, FL and Darlene Vazquez of Ledgewood NJ, a brother, Richard Messenger, four Grandchildren and his cat Creamsicle.
