Anna Mathew passed away on May 22, 2017 in Sugar Land, Texas at the age of 78. She was born on July 13, 1938 in Kerala, India to Paily Tharaniyil Chacko and Catherine Kurian. Anna was a beautiful caring person. She was a registered nurse and loving daughter, sister, wife, mother and friend. Anna is preceded in death by her husband, Augustine Mathew, and survived by her daughter, Deepa Elengical. A heart felt thank you to Deepa for her devotion to caring for her mother for the last four years.
The family will receive friends for visitation on Thursday, May 25, 2017 at Earthman Southwest Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary being recited at 6:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place on Friday, May 26, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Laurence Catholic Church, 3100 Sweetwater Blvd., Sugar Land, Texas 77479. Interment will follow in Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery, Houston, Texas.
