Anthony M. Marino

ANTHONY MICHEAL MARINO, age 81, passed away Wednesday, February 16, 2011. He was born on November 10, 1929, in New Orleans, LA, to Michael and Lena Bono Marino. Anthony was born into a large loving family, the eldest of ten children. He was employed by Southwestern Bell for over thirty-eight years until his retirement. Anthony then became employed by HISD for twenty years. He was a very active member of St. Theresa Catholic Church, in Sugar Land, and also the Knights of Columbus, Counsel 5678. Anthony was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, August Marino. He is survived by his loving wife, Sharon Alpha Marino; daughter, Elizabeth Kopal (Ron); siblings, Lena Lehrmann, Rita Neubeck, Lucy Lehrmann, Catherine Ayres, Anne Marie Maranto, Vincent Marino, Louis Marino, and Michael Marino; grandchildren, Ronnie Kopal (Lisa), and Sharon Kopal; great-grandchildren, Ireland Steward, and Jacob Kopal; and many other close relatives and friends. A visitation with the family will be held from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, on Sunday, February 20, 2011, at Earthman Southwest Chapel, Stafford. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM, on Monday, February 21, 2011, at St. Theresa Catholic Church, Sugar Land. Rite of Committal will follow at Woodlawn Garden of Memories Cemetery, Houston.
