

Carlos was born in Sugar Land and raised in Alief, Texas, to Frank and Victoria Castillo. He built a life centered around hard work, dedication, and love for his family. He began his career with the Harris County Parks Department and later became the founder and owner of Green Acres Landscaping, where he took great pride in his work.
Carlos was passionate about softball and music, but the greatest love of his life was his wife of 50 years. He will be remembered for his strong work ethic, his love for his family, and the pride he had in everything he built.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Victoria Castillo; his sister, Sylvia Narvaez; and his brother, Ralph Castillo.
He is survived by his loving wife, Angelina Lopez Castillo, his children, Cynthia Elaine Medina and husband George Medina Jr., Becky Renee Becker and husband Robert Becker, and Carlos Eugene Castillo. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. His brother, John Robert Castillo and wife Christine Castillo; along with many extended family members and loved ones.
A visitation will be held at Earthman Southwest Funeral Home, 12555 South Kirkwood Road in Stafford, on Thursday, April 9, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with the Recitation of the Holy Rosary.
A visitation will occur on Friday, April 10, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
The Committal will follow, via funeral procession to Forest Park Southwest Cemetery, 9040 FM359 in Richmond.
Carlos will be deeply missed and forever remembered by those who knew and loved him.
