Carolyn Ruth Aeberli Bell, of Richmond, Texas, beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, great aunt, great-great aunt, and dear friend passed away on January 2nd, 2025. Carolyn was born in Bellevue, Pennsylvania on June 11th, 1942 to Nellie Carolyn Worthington Aeberli, William Andrew Aeberli, elder sister Nancy A. Aeberli Mooney and elder brother James W. “Slug” Aeberli.

Upon graduation, she was employed as a hospital laboratory technician and later proudly worked as a Cytogenetic Technologist. She was homemaker and avid seamstress, crafter, crochet teacher and quilter. During her retirement, she continued to crochet hundreds of caps for preemie infants and to sew tiny burial gowns for deceased premature infants. It was in quilt making that Carolyn truly shined, however. She made and gifted quilts to family, friends, shelters and, sometimes, to someone who just needed one. Carolyn was also a member of the United Methodist Church.
