Damien Blu Logan

Damien Blu Logan, age 7, passed away on Sunday, September 29, 2019 at Texas Children’s Hospital after a brief but courageous battle with cancer. He was born on December 9, 2011. Damien was strong-willed and big hearted. He was deeply loved by his family and friends and touched many lives in a short amount of time.

Damien loved cars and would proudly tell everyone that he had over 100 Hot Wheels. He enjoyed video games and especially loved playing Forza Horizon. He dreamt of being a race car driver and loved driving his Power Wheels Porsche. A lover of the arts, Damien loved to dance and sing and enjoyed curating his own playlists. He attended Grace School for four years and had just started the second grade at Highlands Elementary. He was so very intelligent and enjoyed school, with math being his favorite subject. He loved to swim and ride his bike. He loved stuffed animals. He was kind to his friends and was a good big brother to his sister Stella.

Damien is survived by his parents, Susan Logan and Ron Logan; his sister, Stella, and half-brother, Harper; his maternal grandmother, Judy Sims; his paternal grandmother, Cynthia Hill; his uncle, Preston Scott Phillips. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Stu Phillips, and his step-grandfather, Rick Sims.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 5 at 11:00 am at Grace Presbyterian Church, 10221 Ella Lee Ln, Houston, TX 77042.
