To family and friends, I am sorry for your loss. May you all find comfort in the Bible scripture at Isaiah 25:8  where God promises to do away with death forever.

I will always recall Faye at your many gatherings at your home. I enjoyed the times talking and laughing with her! She made you feel part of her big family!

Dear Joanne and Family:
We have many fond memories from our neighborhood where we grew up in Glen Cove. I remember going to your Mom's house when she did ceramics.
The last time I saw your Mom was one night you and your family were sitting on the front lawn, also the Feast of St. Rocco's was going on that day. You were visiting from Texas and your Mom still lived in Glen Cove. My sister and I were in the area and we stopped by and spent some time with everyone that night.
Your Mom always had a smile on her face. She always welcomed you into her home. She was such a kind, loving, caring, thoughtful, understanding person. She was always full of life and if you were having a bad day and ran into her she would lift your spirits. 
Many great memories were made throughout the years and I will always cherish all of those wonderful times. Memories are there for everyone to share and treasure and those memories will keep her spirit alive. God bless you and your family and may he give you the strength you need to help you thru this difficult time. Your Mom was a beautiful person inside and out. She will be missed by everyone that knew her and loved her.

She is now a beautiful angel in heaven watching over her family and friends. She is surrounded by other loved ones in heaven. She is at peace now. There is no more pain and suffering. My mom (Beatty DiMaggio) and I used to go to ceramics together at Faye’s house.  I’m not sure back then Faye  knew the memories she was helping families make.  My mom passed years ago but every year when I hang my house ornament made in 76 on my Christmas tree I tell people I made this at Faye Griffin’s house when I used to go there with my mom💘💞.  RIP Faye find Beatty have a laugh!!!

The memory I have of your mom  is we always hade a great time singing together in the Chior at St Roccos  she was a wonderful friend we had lots of great times together threw church party's and family  we go back a long way we will truly miss her may she rip

Faye was a fellow parishioner at my church on Long Island and that’s how we met.  She & her friend Honey were my CYO cheerleader coaches.   Then years later, we were members together in our church choir.   Along with our fellow choir members, we made great music together and had a lot of good times and made lifelong memories.   St Rocco Church was very important to her and she was sad to leave for Texas.   I kept her in the loop, though, by mailing her our weekly bulletin every week since she moved away and keeping her in touch with the local “gossip” via phone  .....  If I could choose a second mom, Faye would be it.  She was always available with advice and support.  I respected her judgment.   She had lots of wisdom.   She was a lot of fun, too, and liked to have a good time.  .....  When I think of Faye, I think of honesty, love and determination.   After her car accident,  she was a power to reckon with.   Nothin was going to get to her.   What a spirit she had!    ....  Faye, hold down the fort up there in heaven and keep the choirs of angels singing proudly until I come and join you.   RIP Faye  ❤️    Here’s to you.  🍷

Our family was blessed to meet the Griffin’s when they moved to Sugar Land to live near the girls.  Our kids were about 5 years old when we met Faye and Alan and she insisted all the culdesac kids call her GG and Poppy.  It didn’t take long before me and my husband called her that too. She enjoyed having the kids over for pool parties and we enjoyed her stories of her kids and grandkids and her small town up North. She loved John Wayne and Princess Diana (that magazine she has stored away is going to be worth lots of money one day btw in the words of Faye) and adored Mr. Alan.  We loved to hear them play argue only to hear them say they wouldn’t be a part ever even though they were each others PIA! She was his bride. She left a legacy, many will agree. We will miss you O Queen.
