Geneva Mae Williams Yell, age 90, passed away on November 8, 2025, in Sugar Land, Texas. Born on June 4, 1935, in Paris, Texas, Geneva spent her formative years in the heart of the Texas Panhandle, where she attended Dumas High School and met the love of her life, Bill.

She was a hard worker who was able to find employment wherever they moved, but the most important job to her was being a wife and mother taking care of her family.
She found her passion in real estate when they settled in the Houston area. She loved helping people find the home of their dreams and was known as “The Magician” for her ability to “pull the bunny out of the hat” and put the deal together.
Geneva and her beloved husband, Bill, shared 72 years of marriage and were devoted members of Sugar Land Baptist Church in Sugar Land, Texas.
She is survived by her children and their spouses, Gary and Linda Yell, Larry and Jane Yell, and Sherry and Kirk Dodson; grandchildren and their spouses, Ross and Jordan Dodson, Greg and Jessica Yell, Paul and Amanda Yell, Drew and Alyona Dodson, and Kay and Cory Byrnes; and great-grandchildren, Grady, Jonah, Brayden, Barret, Ava, Arthur, Audra, and Melody.
