Guadalupe Mendez Barrera

Guadalupe was born on March 14, 1948 to Cristobal Mendez and Maria del Refugio Medina.

She is survived by her husband, Tony C. Barrera Sr., and her four children, Elma Barrera-Garcia, Tony C. Barrera Jr., Mike Barrera, and John Paul Barrera; fifteen grandchildren, Tony C. Barrera III, Andrea Barrera, Lucas Barrera, Jasmine Barrera, Antonio Barrera, Giancarlo Barrera, Vanessa Barrera, Marc Barrera, Antonella Barrera, Carmen Barrera, John Paul Barrera Jr., Mike Barrera, Jr., Felix Barrera, Houston Barrera, Ace Garcia and one great-granddaughter Natalie Elma Barrera, who made up the entirety of her world.

Those serving as pallbearers are Tony C. Barrera Jr., Mike Barrera, John Paul Barrera, Tony C. Barrera III, Juan Medina Jr., and Francisco Garza III.

Friends are invited to a visitation on Friday, January 14, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with a recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:30 p.m., in the chapel at Earthman Southwest Funeral Home, 12555 S. Kirkwood Road in Stafford.

A funeral service will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, January 15, in the chapel at Earthman Southwest Funeral Home in Stafford.

The Interment to follow at the Historical Hollywood Cemetery in Houston.
