

Joe N. Failla was a lifetime resident of Stafford Texas. He passed away on April 27, 2015 at the age of 84. Joe was born March 13, 1931 in Houston Texas. A graduate of Missouri City High School, he was a member of the FFA and participated in football, track and band. Joe proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. A member of the Texas Farm Bureau, his name was synonymous with farming. The best of his kind, there was nothing Joe could not farm. He was a tiller of the soil and a friend of the earth. In his involvement with farming he had a passion for the outdoors. An avid hunter, and with Joe's hunting skills he was an excellent marksman. A family man, Joe had a deep devotion to his children and grandchildren.
Joe is survived by his children, Melinda Failla Gandaria and her husband Joe, James Failla and his wife Gaye, Sandy Failla and Joanna Failla; sister, Frances Williams and husband Johnny; brother, P.T. Failla and wife Ann; and grandchildren, Anthony Failla and Kristina Failla.
Proceeded in death by parents, Jannie Failla and Tony Failla; sister, Eleanor Howard; and brother, Frank Failla.
