Juanita Aguilar, 75, claimed her place in Heaven on November 2nd, 2021 in Richmond, Texas. She was born on June 24th, 1946 in Brackettville, Texas to Catarino and Ramona Flores. She was the youngest of five children and was an active member in her community. Her compassion for others was visible to all who knew her and she had a heart of gold that showed in her love for all.
She was a devoted mother, grandparent, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and cousin. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially with her great grandchildren that brought her such immense joy! Family was always first with Juanita. She was known by her family as “THE ONE”. The one you could confide in, and the one you could tell your truths to and never be judged, She was the one who listened, advised and spoke from her heart and, more importantly, from her faith.
In addition, Juanita was a strong Christian woman who revolved her life around the Lord. No matter what life threw at her, she remained steadfast in her faith to carry her through it all. She made it her life‘s purpose to humbly give to others even when she didn’t have much at times. She was the life of the party and would make everyone feel welcome. She loved making others smile and laugh; her spirit was contagious.
Although, her loss is tragic and came so unexpectedly, Juanita would want you to cry only for a moment, but then loudly rejoice that she is on her journey to rest in paradise with her husband Jose Cabello, sons, siblings, and mother. They will dance cumbias for eternity and sing their favorite songs while watching over those they love.
She will be dearly missed and will continue to live in our hearts and memories. Those left to carry on her legacy are her daughters, Ida White and Mary Moreno, her son-in-law who she loved as her own Sherman White; her grandchildren, Jada White, Yasmine White, and Jonathon Moreno; her great-grandchildren, Nova and Amias Hernandez; her brother, Andres Flores and her sister-in-law, Angie Flores and her partner in crime and soul sister, Lola Vasquez, and many loving cousins, nieces, nephew and dear friends. She was adored by all of her family from east to west.
