He is survived by my mother, Mrs. Chi-Ying Lee; son, Bryan Charles Lee; my grandmother, Mrs. Choi Fung Lee; god-sister, Mrs. Doris (Allen) Joe and family; god-brother, Mr. Nelson (Eunice) Yuen and family; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by my grandfather, Mr. Charlie Lee in 1981.
My father was born on September 26, 1939 in Hong Kong. He spent his childhood living through the chaos of the Japanese invasion of China during World War II, and immigrated to the United States to join his father in Houston in October, 1958. My father graduated from Jefferson Davis High School in 1961, and earned his associate and bachelor degrees in electrical engineering from the University of Houston in 1967 and 1969, respectively. He worked for many years as a design engineer of packaging machinery for Mira-Pak and Penta-Pak, and later for Krieg Technologies.
Our special appreciation goes to Dr. Eugene Lai, Dr. Farah Atassi, and the Houston Methodist Neurological Institute for their care during my father’s illness, and to the staff at Silverado Senior Care of Sugar Land for their excellent care of my father.
