Margaret Mary Burt

MARGARET MARY BURT, age 79, passed away Thursday, August 11, 2011, in Sugar Land, Texas. She was born on December 15, 1931, in Queens, New York, to John and Mary Monteverde Cox. Margaret and her husband raised their family in Long Island, New York, before moving to Texas in 1998. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Walter Burt; her parents; three sisters; and one brother. Margaret is survived by her daughters, Nancy Neugebauer and husband Tom, Rosemary Herron and husband Don, and Linda Demmers; sister, Joanne Brandt; granddaughters, Lauren Neugebauer, Kristine Kuch, Melanie Henry, and Kathryn Herron; grandsons, Ryan Neugebauer, Jack Herron, Bob Demmers, and Michael Demmers; and three great-grandchildren, Barrett Henry, Braden Henry, and Meredith Demmers. A Memorial Mass will be held at 3:00 PM, on Tuesday, September 13, 2011, at St. Theresa Catholic Church, Sugar Land, with Rev. Stephen B. Reynolds, Celebrant. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The American Cancer Society, at www.cancer.org, or to Houston Hospice, at www.houstonhospice.org.
