

Orlando Ontiveros passed away suddenly in his home on November 1, 2025. He was born in Chicago, Illinois on June 23, 1971. During his childhood, he moved with his family to San Nicolás de los Garza, Nuevo León, Mexico, where he spent several years.
At the age of 18, Orlando moved to Houston, Texas. This place quickly became his home, where he built a life rooted in love, faith, and family. He was married to his sweetheart, Frances Luong on December 10, 1994. They had a blessed marriage of 31 years and created a life filled with warmth, laughter, faith, and unwavering love.
Orlando was a devoted and hardworking electrician, known for always going the extra mile. Whether it was for his work or for a family member’s home, he never hesitated to lend a helping hand. For him, helping others wasn’t just something he did, it was part of who he was.
Beyond his work ethic, Orlando was a man of deep and unshakable faith. His love for God guided every part of his life. He led his family in prayer, in gratitude, and in faith, always reminding them that no challenge was too great when you walk with God. His faith wasn’t just spoken; it was lived every single day through his actions, his humility, and his compassion for others.
He was a protector, a provider, and a spiritual leader. Orlando cared for his family not only economically, but emotionally and spiritually. He stood as their shield, a warrior of faith, strength, and love, always putting his family’s well-being above his own. He led with wisdom, patience, and courage, leaving behind a legacy of faith and devotion that will continue to guide his loved ones for generations.
Orlando will be remembered for his unwavering love for his family, his generous heart, and his steadfast faith in God. His life was a reflection of strength, humility, and grace, a reminder that true greatness lies in service, love, and faith. Though his earthly journey has ended, his spirit lives on in every heart he touched and every life he blessed.
Orlando was predeceased by his father, Gilberto Ontiveros, Sr. and his brother Rolando Ontiveros.
He is survived by his loving wife, Frances Luong; his children, Anthony Ontiveros and Emily Ontiveros; his mother, Orelia Ontiveros; his sister, Leticia Ontiveros Orozco, and her husband, Raymundo Orozco Sr.; and his younger brother, Gilberto Ontiveros Jr. Each of them was deeply cherished and guided by his love, protection, and example.
He is also survived by his beloved nieces and nephews: Raymundo Orozco Jr., Jazmin Orozco, Ezequiel Orozco, Alexander Orozco, Natalie Orozco, and Jade Mia Ontiveros, all of whom adored him and were continually uplifted by his kindness, faith, and warm spirit.
A visitation will be held at Earthman Southwest Funeral Home, located at 12555 South Kirkwood, Stafford, TX, 77477, on November 12, 2025, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.
A prayer service will follow at the same location from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
The funeral mass will take place at Earthman Southwest Funeral Home from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm on the same day.
