Reyes Vera III

Rey Vera passed away peacefully on March 24, 2022, in Houston, TX, at the age of 52. Rey was born on January 13, 1970, in Houston, TX, to Reyes and Eloina Vera.He is preceded in death by his father, Reyes Vera. Rey is survived by his mother, Eloina Vera and sisters Ermalinda Vera; Eileen Salazar; Emily (David) Sury; and Elisa (Clem) Garcia. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, Lindsey Salazar; Tiffany Sosa; Andy Garcia; Lucas Garcia; and Travis Underwood, and his great nephew & great niece,Christopher Salazar and Angelique Lobo.

Rey graduated from Bellaire High School in 1989. Upon graduating from high school, he began a career in the automotive industry and dedicated over 30 years to Parts & Service departments at various Houston auto dealerships.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 31st, at Earthman Southwest Funeral Home, with a Rosary at 6:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, April 1, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church, located at 5430 W. Ridgecreek Dr, Houston, TX. After the service, the family will follow to the graveside at Houston Memorial Gardens in Pearland.
