Roy E. Gutierrez Jr.

(Roy) Rogelio Eliazar Gutierrez Jr. passed away on October 28, 2017 in Houston, Texas at the age of 42. He was born in Houston on May 29, 1975 to Dahlia Flores Gutierrez and (Roy) Rogelio Eliazar Gutierrez Sr.

Roy was a very loving son, brother, uncle, cousin, grandson, nephew and friend who was always happy and smiling when you saw him, and never left home without wearing his cap. His outlook on life was full of positive energy that affected everyone around him. Roy had a huge heart and cared about everyone he met. He believed in love and respect between family and friends. Roy never hesitated to go out of his way to always help others in need, and put everything he had into making sure they knew he cared. Roy was huge sports fan. He loved watching and participating in all sports. He especially enjoyed sparring with his brother John Ruben.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Friday, November 3, 2017 from 5:00 pm-8:00 pm at Earthman Southwest Funeral Home. A Rosary will be recited at 6:00 pm. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 4, 2017 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of Earthman Southwest Funeral Home.
