
Sandra was born March 10th in Houston, Texas. She attended San Jacinto High School and was a member of the Golden Gauchos in her teens. Sandra married early in life and had seven children that she adored. In addition to her children she was a foster parent to many infant children.
Among her many accomplishments as a highly respected business woman, she was a licensed real estate broker, owned and managed apartment buildings throughout Houston.
She moved to Stafford Texas in 1969. She ran for office on the Stafford City Council and was elected in the early 1970’s where she proudly served for 20 years.
In addition to her public service, she was the President of the Houston-Galveston Area Council and a very well read public speaker. She also taught CCD at the Holy Family Catholic Church for many years. Sandra owned and operated a Bail Bonding Company in Fort Bend County for the past 30 years and was a member of the Professional Bondsmen Association of Texas.
Sandra was a good friend to many and she was very much admired by all, she was loved and will be missed.
Sandra is survived by her children, Nick Cable, Molly Wendt and husband Bruce Wendt, Teresa Cable, Kevin Cable and partner D.K. Miller, Georgia Cable, Amy Cable, Andrew Cable and wife Rebecca Cable. Grandchildren, Malorie Thurman, Ashlee Cable, Callie Richmond, Morgan Wilburn, Caitlyn Cable, Caleb Cable, Cullen Cable. Great grandchildren, Kennedy and Kayden Thompson. Brother, Winston Bernich and Sister Marsha Mitchell, husband Donn Mitchell. Many nieces and nephews.
