

Sue Ellen Scott, a compassionate and spirited individual, passed away peacefully on February 22, 2024, at the age of 67, in Sugar Land, Texas. Sue was born Sue Littell on July 29, 1956, in Indianapolis, Indiana, to the late Gilbert and Helen Littell.
In 1996, Sue married Richard Scott, known as Rick, and together they created a joyful, blended family, which included her two children, Chris and Billy, and Rick's daughter, Alison, in Missouri City, Texas. Sue touched the lives of many through her various careers, always gravitating towards roles that allowed her to assist and connect with others. She spent most of her professional life in the auto parts retail business, and later found fulfillment working as an EMT, where she particularly cherished the opportunity to transport young children to and from medical appointments.
Sue is survived by her loving husband, Richard Scott; her devoted sister, Ann Johnson; her caring sister, Mary Sholar; her sons, Christian James Archer and Billy Cook; her daughter, Alison Scott; her granddaughters, Christian Jordan Archer, Shelbie Lynn Archer, and Reagan Hollatz; and her grandson, Roby Lane Archer.
Sue Ellen Scott will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her kindness, warmth, and unwavering love will forever be cherished in the hearts of those she leaves behind. May she rest in peace.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 15, at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel at Earthman Southwest Funeral Home, 12555 South Kirkwood Road in Stafford.
Immediately following, all are invited to greet the family and share remembrances of Sue during a reception to be held in the event room at Earthman Southwest Funeral Home.
