Valerie A. Gaenslen

She was born on February 16, 1950 in Madison, Wisconsin to Alice and Michael Zavada.

Moving to Houston in 1968 Val became a proud Texan and country music fan always retaining her Wisconsin roots and Midwest charm. She was a hearing aid dispenser for many years in the family business with husband George. Valerie was loved by many of her clients who appreciated her caring ways.

She is loved and adored by her husband of 30 years, George. Surviving Valerie are, son, Michael Ramsey (Richele) and daughter, Melissa Flanagan (Garry). The prides of her life were her grandchildren Alyssa and Samantha Ramsey and Brody Flanagan. Also, survived by, her siblings Betsy Fox (Bob), Gary Zavada (Mary), Jackie Katz (Mark), Julie Micelli (Vince) and many wonderful nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Memorial Service and celebration of her life will be on Wednesday, August 8, 2012, at 3:00 PM, Earthman Southwest, 12555 South Kirkwood, Stafford, TX 77477.
